New Civic Centre
The London Borough of Hounslow has re-invented its civic life by moving out of a low level 1970s building to free up land for housing, and re-locating to a relatively compact purpose-designed building on the highstreet. Borough services are knitted into the community in this new model Town Hall, with flexible public, office and civic space, and new organisation and work practice to suit.
Acting as client adviser for interiors, in close collaboration with EWA and Troup Bywater + Anders advising on architecture and services respectively, we have worked with the Hounslow transformation team on design, detail, procurement and progress throughout the construction phase to hand-over and move-in.
The newly named Hounslow House was opened by London Mayor Sadiq Khan in April 2019.
